You agree to be responsible for ensuring that all members of your party and their guests are aware of and adhere to the guidelines outlined herein, with the aim of maintaining a safe environment for all customers of Take Time Saunas Ltd (“Sauna”). Failure to comply with the terms of this disclaimer may result in the termination of your Sauna hire at the discretion of Take Time Saunas Ltd.
While using the Sauna can be a pleasurable and beneficial experience, it is important to recognise and mitigate potential risks. Take Time Saunas Ltd has taken measures to minimise foreseeable risks in accordance with UK Health and Safety legislation. However, you acknowledge potential hazards, including but not limited to:
- Slippery surfaces caused by water, ice, snow, or other substances.
- Exposure to cold and hot temperatures.
- Contact with hot equipment.
- Increased internal body temperature.
- Collisions or contact with other individuals or objects.
- Exposure to airborne illnesses or transmittable diseases.
- Defects or weaknesses in the design, construction, repair, or modification of the Sauna.
- Visible and invisible natural or man-made hazards in or around the Sauna.
- Other foreseeable and unforeseeable risks associated with Sauna usage.
If any of the below apply we advise that you seek advice from your GP prior to booking or attending a sauna session:
- If you’re pregnant
- If you’ve had a heart attack or stroke
- If you’re taking any medications
- If you have cardiovascular conditions and/or problems
- You have epilepsy
- You have asthma or breathing conditions
- High or low blood pressure
- If you have arterial disease
- If you have joint or muscle injury
By participating in the Sauna, you affirm that the following statements are true:
- You are not under the influence of drugs, alcohol, medication, or any other substances affecting your mental or physical state.
- If you have any pre-existing or ongoing medical conditions that may knowing or unknowingly put you or others at risk when using a sauna, such as but not limited to; breathing difficulties, high blood pressure, heart conditions or you are pregnant etc – you must have first consulted and obtained permission from registered GP before using the Sauna.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your safety (along with any guests within your party if part of a group booking) and the safety of your personal property while using the Sauna. Take Time Saunas or any of its agents cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to customers (or their guests) personal property or affects.
You acknowledge that you will follow the Take Time Saunas Ltd rules listed below at all times:
- Wear swimwear at all times.
- Always sit on a towel in the sauna.
- No food, drink, alcohol, drugs or smoking in the sauna or in the sauna grounds.
- Shower before using the cold plunge.
- No products in the shower or cold plunge.
- Nudity is not permitted within the sauna, cold plunges or within the grounds.
- Do not apply or use any personal essential oils, fragrancies or skincare products without seeking permission prior to your visit.
- When applying water to the stones stay an arms length away to avoid backsplash and scolding.
- Removing shoes prior to entry to the sauna.
Within a sauna booking you have a 1 hour session, this also includes your changing time. Please be courteous to those in a session before and after you by leaving in a timely manner as well as taking all belongings with you.
Any belongings left will be kept for 1 month before being donated to charity. To collect any belongings left please contact info@taketimesaunas.com or via Instagram where collection of these items can be organised.
You agree to take appropriate actions to ensure your safety and the safety of others while using the Sauna. Your participation is voluntary, and you reserve the right to refuse or discontinue participation at any time. If you observe inappropriate or dangerous behaviour by other bathers, you will report this to Take Time Saunas.
You acknowledge that Take Time Saunas retains the right to refuse entry to any individual if there are concerns related to health and safety and refunds will not be provided to those denied admission.
You acknowledge that Take Time Saunas retains the right to refuse entry to any individual we deem to not be behaving appropriately and refunds will not be provided to those denied admission.
Bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled through the Take Time Saunas website within your user account (www.taketimesaunas.com/account). Our Amendment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy for all bookings is outlined below:
- Cancellations are eligible for a full refund if made within 48 hours prior to the start of the booking. Refunds will be automatically processed by our booking system and credited back to your original payment method.
- Rescheduling is permitted up to 24 hours before the booked time slot at no additional cost.
No cancellations or refunds will be permitted outside of these terms, or in the event that a customer (or any guests included in Take Time Sauna group bookings) is unable to attend their scheduled time slot
